Delete your account from Storage Auctions

If you can sign in, you can close your bidder account directly:

1. Sign in to Storage Auctions Australia.
2. Open My Dashboard.
3. Open My Profile.
4. Go to the Account closure section and select Close Account.
5. Type CLOSE when prompted and confirm permanent closure.

If you cannot sign in, your account is suspended, or the same login also has an active seller account, please use our Contact page and ask us to delete your Storage Auctions account. We may need to verify your identity before actioning the request.

When account closure may be delayed

For the safety of bidders, sellers and payments, self-service closure is blocked while your account has unresolved activity, including:

• bids on an active auction;
• an unpaid or processing auction payment;
• an incomplete collection;
• an unresolved cleaning deposit; or
• an active seller account connected to the same login.

Once those obligations are finalised, you can submit the closure request again or contact us for assistance.

What is deleted

When an eligible bidder account is closed, the Storage Auctions login is permanently deleted. Personal account information that is no longer reasonably required to operate completed auctions, process or reconcile payments, resolve disputes, meet legal or record-keeping obligations, or protect the Platform will also be deleted or de-identified where appropriate.

Information we may retain

Some historical auction, bid, payment, collection, account-closure and security records may need to be retained after your login is deleted. This may include records needed for accounting, chargebacks, fraud prevention, disputes, audits, legal obligations and the integrity of completed auctions.

We do not apply an additional fixed retention period to every retained record. Information is kept only for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the applicable business, legal, accounting, dispute-resolution or security purpose, in line with our Privacy Policy.
